I was thrilled to discover that my lip area was beginning to tingle, and I could feel it when I touch it! Such a small improvement, but it is progress and I'm THRILLED!

At my Crew Powell Reunion the 12 of my old friends didn't even notice that my face was scarred and that I looked different :) A couple hours later my friend Chip asked how I was feeling, and they all remembered. Again, I was thrilled, that means people aren't noticing my scars.

I am excited to get my nose fixed tomorrow by my surgeon, Richard Lee. I am a little apprehensive, the surgery is expected to take 2 1/2 hours at Mountain View Hospital.
